Targeting the gaps in the current market and workforce, the International Insurance Risk and Leadership Symposium & NexGen Conference (IRLS) established Guam as a center for insurance education provided by the world’s pioneers in insurance and risk management. By leveraging Guam’s proximity to the Asia-Pacific’s insurance societies and adjacent markets, this event was a positive step toward creating continuity for Guam’s insurance industry while providing a space for the region’s professionals to collaborate and grow their expertise and business as well as introduce a new career path for future talent.
